Retired climbing ropes reborn as durable dog leashes

Every leash we craft supports animal shelters and humane societies and keeps climbing rope out of landfills

Our Mission

Partner With Climbers & Gyms

We work with climbers and gyms to arrange rope donations that keep materials out of landfills.

Ropes to Leashes

We handcraft durable leashes from retired climbing ropes.

Support Local Humane Societies

Profits from sales go back into the community to support animal shelters and humane societies.

Our Story

Outdoors / Dogs / Recycling / Community

We are two outdoor enthusiasts and dog lovers who wanted to do something useful with climbing ropes that were no longer safe for climbing, but still incredibly strong and durable. By turning those ropes into leashes, we create a product people and dogs can enjoy together while using the proceeds to support important causes — especially local animal shelters and humane societies that do vital work and rely heavily on donations to operate.

Our Leashes

Each leash is unique, featuring different colors and patterns from various climbing ropes

Durable

Built with materials rated to withstand extreme heat, cold, and weather.

Strong

Stitched with climbing-grade bonded nylon — strong enough to hold a human in a harness.

Unique

Every rope is one of a kind, carrying a story from adventures both indoors and outdoors.

Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee — We are confident in our product. Put them to use, get them dirty, beat them up, toss them in the wash, and if they ever wear out send them back for a free replacement.

Where Your Money Goes

Supporting Local Shelters

Every leash purchase directly supports animal shelters and humane societies in our community, providing funding for medical care, food, and adoption programs.

True Nonprofit

Our time is fully volunteer — no salary or hourly wage is factored into the cost of our leashes. Sales only cover materials and mileage for collecting donations and attending vending events.

What This Means

The majority of what you spend on a leash goes directly to shelters as a donation. Expenses vary by month with activity and demand, but at least 50% of what you spend will be donated. Find a better nonprofit expense ratio than that.
